Nishikawa held his “T.M.R. New Year Party ‘12 Live Revolution” concerts on January 1 and January 2 at Tokyo’s Nippon Budōkan arena. As a special New Year’s gift to the 20,000 attendees, he dressed up in a red checkered costume and performed a “New Year’s karaoke party” cover of the “Heavy Rotation” song by the all-female idol group AKB48.
